I looked into it and we can have as many levels as we want. They are governed by the number of posts(obviously).

Currently:
Newbie 0 posts
Member 10 posts
Advanced 30 posts.

You guys make me a list and the number of posts needed for that level and how many Anarchy pips for that level. What's a pip, it is that red A.

Criteria:
5 levels starting at 0 posts going to no more than 100 for the top level
Pips starting at 0 and going to no more than 10 for the top level
The names should not be stupid things like "Hatchway Hummer". Remember lots of people come here.

Get to work

Dawg,you would have to ask BJ and Jeff B,what they want to call themselves.

I dunno, how about a highly un-imaginative mariner theme? <_<

0-20 Cabin Boy
21-40 Bilge Rat
41-60 Scurrvy Curr
61-80 Ol' Seadog
81-100+ Skipper

Mock away...

Or like Captain Ron.

Yer a swab, you do your job well enough I'll make ya a mate!

But fancy lad, then cabin boy (or peg boy) would have to be the lowest rungs.

Would "Paid Yacht Professional" be the highest rung?

I think bilge rat and paid yachting pro was about the same?
Untill you reach americas cup status maybe.

Perhaps the highest rank should be:
"sailing biljonaire who ones an 100+ racer on each continent"

Who gives a sheet about rankings anyway I thought this was anarchy? Next we will be voting for BUSH!

JimC

Presumably they should rank from:-

1 - 10 too busy sailing to post

to

100+ too busy posting to sail

[grin]

Logically it wold be better f the rankings were on post rate rather than total, but who really cares:-)

Don't know about the rest of the rankings but here are my BJ/JeffB recommendations: (ya know, having those two so close together cannot be a good thing...)

BJ = Master
JeffB = Commander

BJ = Majority Leader
JeffB = Minority WHIP!

BJ = Zues
JeffB = The Oracle

Right on. Who needs rankings. You're all wankers anyway, except you and me... and I'm not so sure about you.

How about...

0- lurker
over zero- wanker

I have had a few emails that the ranking should be more nautical. I'll let the ED decide amd maybe he'll say just do away with them. Some of the suggestions were funny.

BJ ,no Carabean this year ! come down under!
