What a fun boat! We have enjoyed moderate success the last few years with the "red sled", and can't wait to rip down the keys. These boats are so much fun and fast, but yet the numbers here in USA are low?

We'll get a report in after the race, Phil, Chris, and all the rest of the anarchists that know the Steve Thomo boats, we'll see how we stack up with the FT-10's. Should be fun!

Bet them FT10 guys wish they had a few years in there boat. Hope they do stack up well with you but i don't think they will have had enough time in the boat yet. Should be a fun race. Need a good front to come through at that time .

Yo, Chief,
why don't you guys race KWRW? boat would do good. I know it left bad taste in your mouth 1st year, but that was an aberration

Should be interesting. We have sailed #58 about 4 times and three of our crew from #60 will be sailing on a Tiger for the first time. We hope to get in a few days of sailing before the start on Wed. It has got to be better than staying in KY that week.

Where do you launch Standaside?

Definitely should be interesting. My FT has never raced and been sailed only a couple of times. My crew has not set foot on the boat. The way things are working out we will not get a practice sail either. Hopefully we can sort things out quickly. I think the 870 should spot us a couple of unoffical points having sailed their boat for a while as well as having a good result in this event before. How about the first one in gets the first round of cold beer before all the bars close on Wednesday night ?

The FT with an extra 3 and a bit feet of length may have some bearing, no?

Gotta get to a KWRW before too long - sounds like fun
