      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

tried an all grog diet without success but I did achieve some success with my beer diet until gout ended it. ...I wonder.....naw, I would just end up grinding things to a consistence of a milk shake. Did he lose all his teeth or just the front ones?

can't call him skin and bones he is just bones with clothes. I could use a little thinning wonder what his diet consists of?

Dosen't JF understand that tied off like he is allows the vessel to rub against the bottom removing marine growth. after a few days with the port side against the bank I'm sure Captain Remas will then clean the starboard side. That Remas is a genus. Hail the Remas!!

That's a new pix, the one he caught was larger. Who do you think was with him to take that picture? If I remember there was speculation that he may have had a companion on board at that time.

Sheets are always better with a wnech or two to keep things tuned

If that were the case then few mariners without power would ever founder they would be gently guided around them by Poseidon. ..chuckle... but your right in this case I thought like you the condition of the tides and wind could flush him north around the reef. That said the more I looked into the incident the more I became convinced he could never have navigated the maze of reefs and islands he would have had to pass before reaching that location. Another red flag was that there were no pings until he was lined up on the reef. To convenient for me and at that point I began to wonder if the whole thing wasn't fake and the comments made that Remas was sitting in a starbucks somewhere safe and sound laughing at us were not in fact fact!

Read this thread from the beginning and you will discover that remas has never demonstrated skill enough to sail or maneuver without help or a tow.

I've thought so since day one. The last four pings didn't make sense because if they were accurate remas would have had to negotiate a mine field of reefs islands to get to that location. If he did so it would prove he was a very competent sailor and navigator which I seriously doubt.

The point is it was all a story designed to make us believe remas was someplace he wasn't to teach us a lesson for the demeaning comments posted in this thread. JF said as much on fb if you read his comments posted here copied from fb.

I don' think he was ever any were near Fiji the gps delorme locations were manually recoded part of the enablers choreography. No way remas could have made it to the reef through the minefield of islands and reefs that preceded those last pings without sailing skill

Remas is well choreographed of that there is no doubt.
