    Sydney to Hobart 2017

Utter bollox. There was loads of space, and there is nothing about not being able to take it after the Z buoy. The penalty is where the incident took place. Sail away do you turns. If not you are a cheater and you accept the penalty.

would you sack mark richards ?

I only had to get to his explanation about why there are two wheels to conclude that he's a bit of a plonker

Entertaining. It takes quite a bit to make Jimmy Spithill look like the good guy. Mason has managed it.

Nice one- How to be a smartass and end up looking like a cunt PS, I assume you are 'merican with that attitude and the y'all, so you should probably keep a little hush about being slow in a boat at the Olympics

SF Yacht Racing Challenge - The Super 12's

Hey Peter- good to see you again. Do you care to give us a summary of the terrible situation with ISAF, the controversy, cover up and other related accusations that you promised we would hear about. Seems like a whole load of nothing has happened but perhaps you can enlighten us? Good to hear from someone with no balls who hides behind a screen name. after all those promises, thats the best you can do?

yes, who's got $2-3m dollars and wants to go sail a modern 12m for currently one schedule regatta in 2017?

Thank you for your efforts with this project . The positive opinions here may be in the minority but in the real world it's becoming obvious that the majority of the sailing public approve . Keep up the good work , please . ++1 most people round here seem to think this will never happen and that you are trading off the long tradition and brand of the 12m but I think if you can find someone rich enough to underwrite it there is a chance it will fly

    Bermuda?

Seems like the defender is doing a lot of sailing with the challengers. How do you feel about the eventual triumph of Ernievision?

LE is a very interesting character and if you follow AC then - certainly while he has this much influence anyway - it's of course worth following his views. But pardon me for preferring to glean insights into his motivations from what he himself does and actually says, rather than from mostly unsubstantiated bs, posted by someone with a long history of posting personal, emotional, invective attacks, about the supposed ulterior motives of others. He does not use the 'giving back to sailing' line that I posted above exactly in this video interview (he has said it elsewhere) but starting at around the 20' mark (40' remaining) he does talk about his motivations; he eventually also addresses his preference for wanting more participation, and on that subject even suggests (and this is from two months prior to AC34) that they look at racing AC45's next time. The big takeaway line that I took from it though is his assertion that it is the competing moreso more than the winning, that he enjoys. http://www.charlierose.com/watch/60254508 edit, and for those interested in his $200M funding of the Ellison Medical Foundation and its aging-related efforts, he addresses that starting at about 55' (5' remaining) you don't know what the fuck you are taking about, and attacking someone who actually posts sensible well thought out, impartial. This place used to have interesting debate and insight. your one eyed trolling and total lack of logic or acceptance of sensible opinion has destroyed this forum. Why you are so illogical is the hardest thing to work out. Being paid? plain stupid? too much time on your hands? I can't work it out.

You are a prick, fully of self serving sanctimonious bullshit.
