VOR Leg 11 Gothenburg to The Hague

Compared with your razor sharp wordsmithery, hilarious and clever metaphors, the cute nicknames and generally fucking amazing delivery, well yes my delivery was pretty shit tbh

Rolls eyes fair enough, but you know what I meant. Good to see them front and centre of the crews on merit, that's all.

The women have been fucking brilliant, shame it took a rule to bring them to the fore - Wardley, Caffari, Ciszek, Greenhalgh, Grael, all of them. Excellent, talented offshore sailors, they've earned their stripes

VOR Leg 9 Newport to Cardiff

Yeah, sure was. Good to see the VOR radio silence being bypassed at last. Witty is a bit of a dick but his views on the future of the VOR have some merit. Will be interesting, or possibly not, to see what the outcome and fallout of this edition is, once it's over.

VOR Leg 9 Newport to Cardiff

Interesting interview with Witty. Nipper was on the helm; There is video of the accident; OBR launched the drone; etc. Lots of unknowns now cleared up. Witty clearly not a big fan of the VO65. Interesting to hear future plans for Scallywag - didn't know they had a trimaran being refitted.

Ever heard about Coppercoat? Is it effective?

My RM 880 has coppercoat still going from 2007. Needs a clean and gentle sanding pre-season to get best results. Will be going to regular antifouling next year though.

Rees-Mogg is a real person, not a parody as he often seems - he's an MP and a good bet for a future leader of the Conservative Party, and potentially Prime Minister of a completely fucked post-Brexit UK. I'm not kidding. We're doomed. String the pencil-necked entitled posh boy up. I hate him and everything he stands for. /drift

VOR Leg 9 Newport to Cardiff

I respect his sailing CV and credentials, but he really comes across as an entitled, preppy Ivy League prick sometimes. Something a bit sneery and arrogant about him. Anyway. This leg is a particularly exciting one - they will be going full out on the last ocean leg, plus double points. With the potential lottery finish up the Bristol Channel. Bring it on.

VOR Leg 8 Itajaí to Newport

Well done Mapfre. Great finish. I hope TTOP get in next. Thought they deserved a better result really, but that's sailing. Good to see all boats in one piece with rigs up etc

VOR Leg 8 Itajaí to Newport

I really hope TTOP get a podium or even the win. They deserve it, Dee particularly. She's a great leader.
