AKZO : Has been quite performant going through Doldrums twice and made good routing choices during leg 7. MAPFRE : If they are not covering DFRT, they will be in good position for a win but they are fighting so hard DFRT than AKZO has a better chance of winning. DFRT : Still waiting for a genius routing decision from Pascal. Too many mistakes so far and definitively not the excellence seen in previous edition. BRUNEL : Having won the previous leg, will take too many risks and fail (again !) just like leg 6 VESTAS : Too many issues with the sponsors, cannot break again and will hesitate to take risk ; no risk no gain. TTTOP : Better than ever but still lagging a little bit behind. SHKS : Has been lucky twice with the routing, will not happen again. Unfortunately John Fisher will remain in their head until the end, which is not good for a good result.
