    Resistance to water damage?

Many teams have had all members haveto buckle down to do work like that. On many occasions So it is not "NZ culture". It is good team culture and occurs in many countries

That is at least as vomit-making as Georgie's letters to Ben And incredibly naive of what happens in other teams form many countries

Good for them, NZL5 talked about people being sliced- biggest risk of that was people going forward. They stopped that for safety and Kiwis complain Then Kiwis capsize and they complain that committee didn't change the rules. Capsizing is part of the sport. Ever been on an offshore monohull pitchpole when surfing off a huge wave out at sea. That was scary too, but it carries on NZL5- think yourself lucky the race committee saved your arse in the first race

    But he didn't So?

Yet when they banned people going too far forward for safety, it was the Kiwis that complained

Exactly, and apart from Ellen MacArrthur you have to go back a fair while to find any other sailor that impinged on the consciousness of joe public .

Frankly I couldn't give a shit. I wouldn't see the need to critcise themn if they were Kiwi, I don't feel the need to defend them because they are British. I just thought it worth pointing out that there are trolls from all sides.

You have no worries - certain of your compatriots have been doing that endless (and tedioiusly) already. Of course if they were to do with NZ, those very same people would be protesting about how they were wonderful and no-one should dare criticise them

But remember he got promoted to the A-team, whereupon Oracle started winning I'm not saying that ben is better than PB. I'm just saying that if you think ETNZ is as far ahead of BAR based solely on PB being a better helmsman rather than the boat being faster (in those conditions) then you really need to cut back on whatever you are schmoking

Frikking troll? You are a frikking idiot if yoiu think PB is that far ahead based on skill rather than the boat. CF PB's record with Ben's: Ben won the ACWS Series, not just one regatta. Also previously has helped win the America's cup if you recall As for Olympic golds: 1 silver and 4 golds As for world Championships 1st 1993 Laser Radial World Championships 1st 1995 IYRU Youth Sailing World Championships in Hamilton, Bermuda. 1st 1998 Laser World Championships 1st 1999 Laser World Championships 1st 2002 Finn World Championships 1st 2003 ISAF Sailing World Championships which effectively is the Finn World Championships 1st 2004 Finn World Championships 1st 2005 Finn World Championships 1st 2008 Finn World Championships 1st 2010 ISAF Open Match Racing World Championship 1st 2012 Finn World Championships[11]

You do see the bit about a faster boat don't you? You do understand how that works in sailing? Sure, Ben sucks, never achieved anything in sailing compared to PB's single Olympic gold

He is leading because he has a faster boat. Ben took him apart in the pre-starts, and then PB was very lucky not to give away a very easy penalty when on a different leg.
