do you think the melges 14 will catch on?

i saw in their newsletter last week that they'll be there with the 14. not sure if this link will work or if it's just my link from my email? does it work for you? http://myemail.constantcontact.com/Inside-Melges--The-September-Issue-.html?soid=1126977055871&aid=CkhbgjLTmzQ

Sailing a Melges 14 (control lines question)

nice video! i hadn't seen that yet. cool to see US Sailing doing that. www.melges14.com/s/M14-Melges14-Rigging-Guide-rthl.pdf -- i found this helpful when i sailed it the first time. there's a section at the end with some sailing tips. (the guys at melges emailed this to me. they've always been really good about answering like any random question i have - that's a really big reason i keep getting melges boats. it's super nice to have an expert who responds to your curious random sailing question like, right away.) i hope they do a melges 14 clinic or somethign like that. and i always learn something from the pics whenever they post new ones. like this one of harry melges sailing downwind:

i'm pretty sure there's a melges 14 fleet in norfolk, virginia. maybe that's near you? the guys at melges are pretty good about offering demos and regatta charters. i know there's a form somewhere on the melges 14 website www.melges14.com

From my own experience sailing the Melges 14 in those conditions (18-20 knots, 4-5 ft chop), the furthest aft you'll ever need to sit is in line with the traveler. It seems to me that the boat even has early rise/rocker in the bow --- this picture kinda shows what I'm talking about:
