    Figaro's on the East Coast

Just wondering if anyone had any leads on any Figaro's on the EC? Will be in the market to purchase a new to me boat in the next few months. Any leads would be welcomed as I cant find anything on the interwebs. Short and sweat. eND OF STORY

The Yacht Club - Do you get value from your dues?

I love the little yacht club I belong to. It feels more like a club house with a few moorings and a launch, oh yeah and the beer fridge makes those hot summer nights that much better. When you become a member at my club (KPYC) you become a share holder, with that share you have access to the club 24/7/365 and can rent out the space if you wanted. Our yearly fee is $400. I do feel that the classic yacht club vibe can be pretty boring...but that is me. To be honest, the only reason I joined this club was to get a mooring.
  6. Seascape 18 might be a great fit, unless you are planning on camper sailing with the family. Its a great little trailer sailor, easy to setup and sail.
  7. This is a bad time to ask for advise. I am waiting for the waters to cool a little so I can ask my question on cruising a TP52 up the coast of Maine. Heard its a wicked nice sail and a good way to get away from the wife and kids.

    Fast "safe" boat....

I have been following the banter for the past few days. I am starting to run out of popcorn.

    Fast "safe" boat....

I think this is a great suggestion. Since the OP is new to sailing the laser would be a great place to start. They can really get a feel for the water and how to trim a main/weight placement.

Thank you for this contact, I am currently talking to one of the partners who seems to be very knowledgeable. Correct, my insurance did offer to pay out the value of my policy but they didn't think that was the best option and thought it would be best if I submitted my claims directly to the liable party. They aren't lawyers so they couldn't really offer any advise.

It was progressive. They have done a lot with a friends Olson but they didn't know how to handle this mess at all.
