      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

  1. RS 21 - Fugly or just a different genre

Right, the RS guys cut the Torqueedo shaft in two pieces. The removable accu pack is locked in the center pedestal and the shaft got an simple hand grip? at the top end. Easy lifting with a line and and trapez clam cleat.
  2. RS 21 - Fugly or just a different genre

Last Tuesday I been in Düsseldorf and had a deeper look at the RS 21. The concept sounds good, but 34 TEUR for an open keelboat, puuh. More pics here at the german issue of SailingAnarchy: http://www.sailinganarchy.de/hochsee/boot-2018-klein-und-gross
  3. J70, cheating and pros

  5. what is it?

Fuck, Pauger is well known for his knowledge to build carbon to to boat porn
  6. Looks like they have to do some fine tuning but the is no way back ;-)
  7. No more fucking VR race never ever again. These guys fooled my one time to often, I am through with that bunch of software creeps.
  8. Fareast 23R

I think that should be no problem, just pay for it ;-)
  9. Fareast 23R

Should be no problem to get the boat in OD white for hiding at the startline ;-)
  10. Fareast 23R

Roundabout 37.700 EURO incl. VAT free Germany
  11. Fareast 23R

Saw the boat at boot Düsseldorf in January. Little sister to the 28 with the look of the great 31R. FarEast thinks they will be a competitor to the J70 market as the FE23R is the better design, is faster and 1/4 cheaper ... Mmh, save money for the 2 Harken 20.2 winches, invest in a carbon stick, add 10,15 cm to the keel, 60 kg out of the bulb, that would be a nice option
  12. Melges 40

So they told my at the boot Düsseldorf too. 4 sold, building at PCI in Dubai. First boat out in 2016, starting a world cuircut in 2017
  13. Rolex Wild Oats XI

Top picture is reefed. There are some other small changes, but same sail. Thank you for explanation, did not see the reefed sail area as it is covered by the lazy bag
  14. Rolex Wild Oats XI

No way that's the same main they did Transpac with. That's 3 1/2 Hobarts, even if it is all off the wind. looks like the same sail in both these pics - thats SOLAS 2014 and 2015 WOXI2014:15.jpg Really? To me it looks like the sail batten in the 2014 pic is much lower to the boom than in 2015
