I wonder whether the filthy glove is included in the sale. My rule was always "if it's in a picture on the listing, it's part of the sale unless specifically excluded." I do not see an exclusion. But then, I never posted a listing pic with a fucking filthy glove on the cabin table. Nor a roll of tape and a tattered rag. Not an ounce of professionalism. I find this inexcusable if posted by an owner, but this is a broker. A "sales professional" who is being paid.

The question is why? Somebody spent a whole of jake to make that happen. Hi performance rig? It's like putting street slicks on your 1959 Vauxhall What's your point? vauxhall.jpg Man, maybe I need racing slicks for my 59 Hillman Minx!

That's a beauty. My that;s a lot of helm What;s that drumming coming from the hull ? Very disruptive technology. That boat was tied at the Vallejo marina for years. An old couple lived aboard with their labs. Nice people, but I can't imagine the smell below. Something about this boat makes me wonder of those labs were actually meth labs.

"Inspection will not be available but I am happy to discuss details". The photos suggest that a lot of inspection is needed to see if there is anything at all worth rescuing ... or if the $10 would just be buying the right to pay the scrappage costs "The problem is that the topdeck ply needs relacing as it has been affected by weather." Ummm so it needs to be re-laced? WTF I guess when a topdeck takes on weather affectations, it's laces get messed up.

Good score Horse - 50 miles up the Fraser is the record for no-hopers so far. I thought the Pitt bridge or Langley were as far as the junk made it. "Willing to barter for quades or dirt bikes" My dirtbike is not available for trade. Too bad I don't have a quade, whatever that is. Perhaps he's hoping someone will trade him Dennis Quaid for that... thing.

Probably a typo or something. I bet it was supposed to say "ULTRASHITE".

Marina: "'get this rotten-as-a-jack-o-lantern at Thanksgiving POS out of here before it sinks and we sue your sorry ass for the environmental damage and salvage." Owner: "Ok, I'll try to trick some poor unsuspecting idiot to BUY this liability from me for $500. And yes, my name is Tom Sawyer." Now that you mention it, that hull looks SUPER FUN to whitewash!

John, you seem to have missed the point of this thread - the boats you are posting are WAY too nice for this thread. Yes, this is closer to the heart of the thread: http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/37-KETCH-ALL-PARTS--CASH-OR-TRADE--MUST-GO_24132383 Wow, looks like it comes with a bucket of sewage at no extra charge!

I've seen similar weird behaviour. My neighbour put out an old decent chair in front of his house with a big "FREE" sign. That chair was there for well over a week, and the trash man might have ended up taking it. I find that if I set things just to the side of our front stairs, like we just set it down for a moment, it disappears in minutes. Stupid people need to think they're getting away with something, or at least it helps, I guess. Reminds me of a BBQ that I was trying to give away at a garage sale. No takers all day. Put a sign on it for $20, and someone talked me down to $10...

I guess if it helps I'd show him my body. Oronoco was the last to see HR and Mom alive. We'd better bring him in for questioning. As a person of interest, of course. If we make him a suspect, he'll lawyer up and we won't get anywhere. And the lawyer will start demanding that we show a body or two.
