    dutch ac entry

Very excited news. I hope they can pull it off financially Speculating: - Built at Holland Composites which already has experience with foiling boats (Gunboat G4, DNA)? - Mischa Heemskerk involved?

    Coolboats to admire

While on vacation in Marseille I came across this beauty by William Fife http://www.lanautique.com/pole-tradition-detail-societe-nautique-marseille.asp?numero=15

    Construction of a Pogo 12.50

What a magnificent boat. Thanks for sharing the process here, it's been a joy to follow this thread.
  6. As far as I know this Flits dinghy is only sailed in one area. It's a 2 person boat for kids 8-15 (or so). The fleet is pretty big, plenty of kids sail them in that area. As with the Regenboog, plenty of colors
  7. The Vrijheid celebrated its 70th anniversary this year.
  8. The Lark is a funky little scow from the Dutch province of Friesland. Designed in the 1930's, still sailed today.
  9. I love those boats, damn sexy

    New imoca boats

I think it's pretty cool the Safran campaign is a company wide effort, not just a "money sponsor" Or am i falling for some marketing BS?

    Perry Sliver Class Day Sailor

Not just gorgeous, also a very good vessel for a couple, SWMBO and I sailed ours all over the place and had a great time with her, easy to handle, reasonable fast, motors well. Next to FRANCIS LEE, my favorite boat, even better performer than our beloved TIOGA. However TIOGA was actually more gorgeous than the Swede. I guess the only negative about the Swede was you get a 35' interior but you get to pay for 52' of moorage. Of course you can say the same about FRANKIE, small interior for a 62' boat, but at least I own the dock she stays at. The updated current Swede 41, 52 & 68 are all very interesting vessels. See them at: http://classicyachts.se/product/swede-52/ The 68 looks amazing in the renderings

Who's the designer? Finot, like most Pogo's? Or Verdier (New Pogo 3)? Can't seem to find any info online.
