Another what's the best dingy question

In Melbourne, either a Sabre or an Impulse. There are more Sabre's around, and the market is active, the fleet is strong and helpful. Impulses are better for bigger sailors, but there aren't so many around. An old laser would get the job done too, but wetter/less comfortable/tippier. The RS Aero is still kinda new, not sure what the secondhand market is like yet, and they don't really do much more than a Sabre/Impulse.

    VOR '17-'18 - THE GAME

Try Virtual Loup de Mer, great site. v-l-m.org. 5 minute cranks for long races, weather updates every 6 hours, you can program an autopilot. It works really well, completely free, no gimmicks. You can use external routing software. qtVLM is fantastic, started off intended for VLM, but now some Mini sailors are using it, and plenty of other people. There is a learning curve but once you get used to it is really good. Try the permanent record races for practice, PSDP and the three 3 Megs races.

    New imoca boats

Haven't seen this posted before, apologies if it has been. Great shots of Safran absolutely smoking, the foils are doing plenty of work! Looks like it's from the future...
