    Melbourne Big Boat Fleet

Anybody else think that the race management on Sunday was deplorable? 5kts of breeze and not forecast to build.... They set a 1.7nm beat with 3 laps for fast boats and 2 laps for less fast boats... That's ok I guess, it means you have an opportunity to shorten course at lots of marks.... Nope just allowed the fleet to continue sailing whilst the breeze faded to zero. Both fleets could have been shortened allowing all to get a resultt.

    F-22 Update

From the bit I understand from your numerous posts, I assume that the answer will be more than rumours, and be backed up by facts as it should be. I don't mean to flame, I am seriously interested in the answer. Already covered in Post 1048 I had read that post. All I could find there was this: "As for sales, everyone knows they are slow, and this comes from many varied sources." I was actually looking for backed up facts, not hearsay. Says the masked man.... You are certainly being very selective in your concern for facts. A hastily setup pseudonym 'MadAboutMultis' tries to sabotage the F-22 in a post just one day after joining, and then brings up what looks like a bribe in order to sell another brand. Sure looks like someone is not selling much. However, he shoots himself in the foot as he is unable to back up any of his claims with facts when called upon. Where's your concern for such facts from such an obvious attempt at denigration. How's your foot? Maybe you should try to be a little more even handed, and then you will be able to come out from hiding under your desk. It really is better out here in the full glare of daylight. The simple irrefutable answer to your very selective concern is to compare order books. I have disclosed mine. Ian Farrier Farrier Marine Designs that work Ian for the love of God spend less time fretting over sailing anarchy and more time getting boats out of your factory. Some of want to stay anonymous AND maybe one day buy an F22... Once they start coming out of the factory more frequently!

Having the mast in 3 pieces at deck level certainly does reduce weight aloft!!!!

Gee Peter/Ian I hope you won't be claiming on insurance - that would be a great disservice to fellow Australian trimaran owners

That is the second most boring sailing video I have ever seen! Boat looks nice though.

    F-22 Update

This green mob must be out of touch and up themselves. These production F22's have threatened to beat them for 4 years and now we are finally going to see it.

    F-22 Update

So Pete when do we race? Why would you? It will be a no contest... production built boomless F22 will surely be faster than a green boat

    Older fast Aus multies

Has Simon ever raced this boat? I think its primary use has been to assist his sons in wooing women off Portsea Pier.

    Older fast Aus multies

Came from NZ didn't it? Been living in Martha Cove? Is it still owned by Simon McKeon?

    F-22 Update

Surely the whole "... too slow, its a compromise, old design..." type stuff is just water off a ducks back for the "Farrier Team" - the designs are obviously proven, and if you removed "F" boats from the fleets around Aus and the World it would be a sorry sight. Peter - as a rep of these F22's you must have scored the easiest job in the world! Why? It takes a special type of customer to agree to hand over money not knowing when they will receive a product, or even for many what the final product will actually be. If I were you guys I'd kick back and just enjoy - clearly the long armed customers are coming to you! I think they are crazy... but hey, Ian keeps reminding us how many deposits he's taking. Second hand market is the one for me.
