      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

My first ever concert, 1968, and they were loud. Magnificent.
  3. Birth Certificate Forgery

You don't normally change original documents. Name changes are another document that would be presented with a birth certificate if required. Adopted babies have their original birth certificates amended to erase the biological parents and make it appear that they are the natural issue of the adoptive couple.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, too. My heart aches for this guy and his family, and reminds me... A few years ago when my son was 15 he was riding his bike home from XC practice. Coasting down our slight downhill boulevard towards home, he was relaxing hands-free, and hit a bump or pothole or something, only a couple of blocks from home. Went over the bars and landed on his face and shoulder. A few people came to his aid, luckily one was a doctor, and a passing jogger came by our house to let us know. We went right there with our car and found him sitting on the curb with lots of blood from his chin, but the doc said he was basically okay. He seemed oriented x4, so we took him to the HMO Emergency Services clinic. His helmet had cracked in two. Turned out he had broken his jaw on both sides, initially not seen at the clinic, but discovered in the next few days. His jaw was wired shut for 6 weeks. Other than that he was fine. Landing on his chin, helmet, shoulder, and right arm basically broke most of the fall in a rolling way. He got some major cred with his friends out of this, but scared the shite out of us as parents. You can't protect them from life, but it was a reminder that every time they go out the door you gotta remember how much you love them. Please do keep us updated.
