That little wooden thing in Sheldon could really go with a repower. Now, where would I find a big diesel engine?

    Uglyboat Admiration Society Hang Out

It's too bad that my picture doesn't show the strange lumpy bits or the itty-bitty useless transom. Is it a BroachCoach 37?

This boat is in a slip on the end of my dock right now. The giant bow bulbs on it keep threatening to rip out the walkway every time the wind hits it's stern. The 3/8ths mooring lines might have something to do with it.

We went with a sunbrella color called "spa", with navy trim. Could be uglier, I think. (pictures to follow once I figure out how)

I'm sure one would feel very.... secure on that bowsprit.

We also are avoiding blue, but at the same time, don't necessarily want to look like a seahawks jersey with the green. Picking the colors is for sure the hardest part. Maybe a nice rich red with tan trim? Sort of the lumberjack / carhart look?

Iversons is coming on Thursday so we won't look like hillbillies under a tarp anymore. I'm rather leaning towards lightish green with navy trim, just for something a bit different. Too ugly? Opinions?
