The first Endeavour was supposed to be the faster boat but for crewing issues.

Looks a bit difficult to get from point one (the tack) to where he shows now without clipping the zone (as he would have had to bear away around the corner of the zone and then head up to a course higher on the wind than he can currently sail to get where he is?

What custom cruiser...if money were no object?

Depends what I was going to use it for, but either a Garcia 45 or an Outremer 45.

What is it - hot / cold molded dinghy

Doesnt look like a firefly, they have a much more pronounced transition between stem and keel.

    Inflatable dinghy anarchy

My brother has one of these http://foldablerib.com/product/f-rib-330/ with a 6hp outboard and is very happy with it - he thinks it does about 18 knots one up and 14 with 2 average size people. You might be able to fit the 275 on your foredeck.

My sons $1 dollar boat gets a re-fit.

I think the Fairey Atlanta did a pretty good aft cabin within 26 feet in the 1950s.
  11. Arguably the PC -after deciding the technicality - could have asked MR if he still believed his declaration was true and to consider RAF pending which they would consider r69 protest....
  12. YeAh I get that but somehow I think the bar is higher for a protest based on wilful dishonesty rather than simple non compliance with the SIs - I’m suggesting that for issues other than boat on boat breaches, the technicality that WO got off on be eliminated.
  13. I think the marker for going forwards is that for offshore the RC needs to give themselves the right to protest competitors for situations like this irrespective of reports from competitors - this really needs to be on the RC to monitor.
  14. So why turn it off in breach of the rules if they didn’t think there was an advantage (for example, if a split developed)?
  15. That’s like saying my biggest spinnaker didn’t measure but hey, it doesn’t matter because I didn’t use it.
