      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

  1. Sydney to Hobart 2016

interesting to see the ORC vpp numbers verse logged I think they are under in light and over in heavy
  2. Sydney to Hobart 2016

Mast back in CQS, Halyard lock fixed rainy days did not help the effort two days work for one guy. New addition to the head stay to make sailing easier/faster. The boat is not lacking sail area and certainly does not need a larger mast if you have not seen the pictures it is a very small and lighter weight 98'er not a massive heavy platform. Interesting project a lot to learn and simply not enough hours in the day before Hobart, but at least it will be there which seemed to be doubted by many just 6 weeks ago when she left the shed in Tauranga.
  3. Sydney to Hobart 2016

No rig back in at 5pm today
  4. Sydney to Hobart 2016

No shortage of beer storage if that's an Eski/Chilly bin/Ice box on the aft deck! I think that is the MEGA fender for under the wing and the dock
  5. GC32 super cat

Martin is also a TOP guy!, The 5HP is a little light on though you would never go to the dock upwind in over 20!
  6. I just want to to fast like Ricky Bobby
