Not quite. You (roughly) double the aspect ratio if the foil is end plated, not the span. That means you double the span after squaring it - otherwise you’ll quadruple the AR.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but what is the metal work on the underside of the foil? It’s not externally actuated, surely? Apart from that it looks just like a falcon, much nicer than the ones used in the ACWS!
