      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

  4. The J/22 fleet of Narragansett bay has created a J/22 Narragansett Bay Championship. The 2016 Narragansett Bay J/22 Champion will be determined by the best 3 of 4 scores in the regattas listed below. There will be a perpetual trophy awarded to the winner. Each of the regattas is a two day event with separate J/22 one design classes. While the Wickford regatta and J-fest regatta are traditional one-design only regattas, both the EGYC and Conanicut regattas are combination events with a pursuit race on one day and around the buoys races the second day. North Sails J/22 expert Mike Marshall will be running a free J/22 clinic in conjunction with the Wickford regatta. The clinic is scheduled for Friday June 10 beginning at 2pm at Wickford Yacht Club. Charter boats will be available for each event through East Bay Sailing Foundation (www.EastBaySailingFoundation.org/) and through Greenwich Bay Sailing Association (www.GBSA.info). Anyone seeking additional info may contact us through our facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/NBJ22/ or email Dave Wehr dwehr@nichenet.com o Wickford Regatta (June 11-12) - wickfordregatta.com o EGYC Annual Regatta (July 16-17) - www.egycregatta.com o J Fest New England (Aug 13-14) - http://www.yachtscor...nu.cfm?eID=1463 o Conanicut Regatta (Sept 3-4) - http://www.conanicut...ub.org/ATI.aspx
  5. You're right! Funny - they sent us some more pics today - here is the actual deck! Also - if you're local and are going to the Waterline / US Watercraft open house on March 5 - we'll be there selling tickets. You can see the boat at that time in the factory.
  6. Wondered that myself. Tried to buy 3 and it reset to 1 and didn't notice. ... You can buy as many as you like. (there are currently 239 tickets remaining) Sorry it reset - it shouldn't have. I'll look into that. Also we just got some pictures of our boat from USWatercraft - hull number is 1677. Here she is in production!
  7. Swimsailor - sorry you're having trouble. The only thing I can surmise is it must be an issue with your CC. We continue to get orders every day without anyone reporting issues. Sometimes prepaid gift cards or ATM cards can cause issues. If you happen to be local - come see us at the Providence Boat Show Booth B-60 today through Sunday. We'll have tickets available there. Thanks everyone for your support.
  8. Hi Everyone - just a quick update. We have hit our minimum (350 tickets sold) - so this raffle is on - somebody is going to win this boat! You still have a chance to buy your ticket - come see us at the Providence Boat Show or go to www.WinAJ22.com Thanks again for all the support.
