      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

Any old guys sailing Aero's? They look like great fun.
  3. Corsair Sprint 750 - Race to Alasks

Look me up when you get to Port Townsend. I have a Mk. 2, and everyone asks if I'm doing the race. The answer is no, but happy to join in vicariously.
  4. MK1 Sprint 750 #17

Just cant' seem to get the photo to upload. Actually she's the red and gray boat in the pictures on the Corsair web site. And those are better pictures than any I took with my phone.
  5. MK1 Sprint 750 #17

    Ok, here she is.
  6. MK1 Sprint 750 #17

So I recently bought Sprint 750 Mk 2, number 169, out of Thailand. This is the gray and red boat on the Corsair site, And we finally go her her wet today! What a wonderful boat, the kind of boat that makes you feel young again. I'm in the Puget Sound area, looking to do distance races and multihull-friendly regattas. First sail, 8-12 knots wind, everything worked great except the outboard. But it's a sailboat, right? We sailed out, we sailed in, no worries. And a lot of fun. I'd attach a photo or two, but can't figure out how. Larry Port Townsend
  7. I'm considering buying a boat that is currently based in Phuket, Thailand. Anyone worked with a surveyor there? Larry Port Townsend
  8. F-22 Update

How does the F-22 compare to the F-24 on the water. I like the new beams and the higher flotation floats, and a number of F-24 owners have adopted the F-22 rudder, so there's clearly an advantage there. I'd love to hear from Peter Hackett and others who have experience with both boats.
