isnt there something in the regs that says that the windward foil has to be out before ??? time or distance after a maneuver?

Why are ETNZ waiting so long to launch B2? so competitors dont have time to copy innovations revealed they are so confident that they dont need to practice something has gone wrong and they are busy fixing it building dramatic suspense waiting for the weather to warm up modding B2 based on what they have seen from the competitors boats

building a door: which gets tongue/groove ?
luminary replied to LionessRacing's topic in General Anarchy
50 cases and a 3 foot door. I'd be nervous about having to crawl in to get the last out. -
And that, is the end of that. Too bad, would have been interesting to see to conclusion. But I think he has come to the inevitable conclusion that SV Rusty Junk is a was a curious project, but that German Engineering is way more liable to lead to a long and happy life. Too bad. The (video of the) train wreck is avoided due to lack of stick-to-it-ness. 85% complete. It'll be a bargain for someone.

Math/Engineering thing. Thinking about it - it is a measure of the stability, so by saying 'at least 20' means that the boat needs to have at least a minimum righting moment. MWP is the design waterline (in profile) at rest.

who's been tested? I am enjoying the assumption that I have not gotten the virus and so my regime must be effective against it. That said, I think a large number of the population, possibly myself included, could be carrying it, and unaware. I havent been tested, no symptoms. So to answer the question, i recommend a dry red, particularly nuanced with the smokey environs, followed by a finger or two of scotch (to your palate), occasionally preceded with a punchy gin drink - may i suggest a Negroni. Food optional.

if you want to be a pirate... that said, lots of streaming services can recognize vpn addresses (how?) and block. Eg Netflix if I leave the VPN on.

I've just learnt that 32nds arent used in boat building (thanks Leo), but I've been taught to use 'hairs' in construction - hair colour and origin indicating the size of the hair which typically is less thatn a 32nd...

What you need for lockdown: adequate booze (dint under estimate), internet, comfortable chair, some private space for working/escaping, some good books (video gets weary), headphones, an intellectual project + resources, someone willing inside the bubble, must be more

So it was constructed by hanging the frames from the ceiling?

If S&S want to borrow a boat to get into the challenger series, why not borrow(?) Defiant? Then the made in country issue evaporates. edit: oh - already suggested...

I've heard... that this method only became fashionable once the gas companies shifted from coal gas to (whatever it is now) and the mortality of sticking your head in the oven dropped. then they made the car exhaust less toxic, so I guess now its drugs and guns or Covid parties

a wine is enhanced by the glass it is served in, where it it served, and the company that shares it. That is never more evident that enjoying a cheap chianti in a polo cup whilst in the presence of a beautiful, available, semi-clad twenty something who's making kissy faces at you. You'll remember that wine forever

I recall that Ponsonby has about 4 inches of soil over clay. I could feel the neighbours walking down the hall two houses over. The clay is like a trampoline, and those old homes are paper thin.(though there has to be a bunch of concrete and steel in Glen's to be able to open those doors more than once.
