Nothing some fancy on-screen graphics can’t fix.

1) Shorter chord to the wings? 2) Either the bulb and foil is a long way back, or the foil arm has a long chord close to the bulb? Thanks Weta.

I guess Russell can stuff his copyright up his fucking date. This guy might just take yachting coverage to another level. He doesn’t look like much of a sailor.
-
Pete Lester. He’s not writing anywhere else I’ve seen.
-
Sorry, I forgot this one too, which might be more relevant to this thread.

Since you asked. New Zealand has a long history of standing up for things they believe in, on the world stage, and making a difference. We’re not very big, and we’re a long way away, but we do make a difference. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Zealand_nuclear-free_zone https://nzhistory.govt.nz/politics/nuclear-free-new-zealand/testing-in-the-pacific https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christchurch_Call_to_Action_Summit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_South_Africa_rugby_union_tour_of_New_Zealand_and_the_United_States https://nzhistory.govt.nz/files/documents/28mb/fact-sheets-all.rtf Just read the first paragraph. This has some big words but see if you can follow along. I’ve picked an abridged version.

Yip. Exactly the same. Except the bridge.

Stolen from FB, from today. Concaved main leech?
-
Grandstands on the Port Hills?

Just that they’re positive. Bloody windy day to be testing new gear.
-
Any pics from today? I’m hearing positive vibes.

Agreed, but they also optimised their systems. In the last race the oil pressure displays showed that they never built as much pressure (suggesting smaller components). Their drive to free up hands was clear. They also spoke a lot earlier this year about everyone having to wait until the Christmas Cup before they saw how ETNZ were going to sail TR. When they did sail there was nothing particularly significant. I reckon they've got something up their sleeves still. They could be playing cards in those cockpits and no-one would be able to see.
-
I don’t think we’ve seen the final crew arrangement on ETNZ. Given that their approach to hydraulics, and the benefits any efficiency can give the crew, in 2017, I’d be very surprised if ITUK could sail with six grinders and ETNZ haven’t achieved the same.

It's worth noting that AM eased their runner in less wind, earlier in the same race. There's no doubting that it should have been eased, and that it didn't make Barker's job any easier. Although, I wonder if Barker controls the runners?

Having looked at this again, there is no tow line. #Revolutionary

...and assist in the successful rescue of sinking Americas Cup boats.

My understanding is that no country has approved the vaccines yet. Some have authorised it for emergency use. New Zealand doesn't have an emergency. Medsafe, who would approve the drug is (and often does) working with their Australian counterpart.
-
I can’t remember anyone (including ETNZ) tow testing a proven boat with new foils.
-
Is that why you’re shutting the borders now? No one likes a trilogy.
-
Hmmm, I suspect, on the same grounds, Luna Rossa may consider Britain to be an old colony of theirs?
-
INEOS haven't started racing the colonials yet.

A thread dedicated to the planning and realisation of the venue for the 36th America's Cup.

For fuck’s sake. This team is great. I truely admire the strength they’re showing, but take a quick reality check New Zealanders. ”Paying it forward” in coffee to a multi-million dollar sports team? I hope this generosity makes its way to someone who actually needs help.
-
Apparently not. As an aside, and sorry for the thread drift, but very windy here today. I haven’t checked but I suspect they weren’t out today. I saw no cradle at lunch time. I saw somewhere (here) that the new foils would be splashed this week, but wouldn’t blame them if they picked a more benign day to test them for the first time.
