AquaSignal makes these masthead ones all LED, both with the anchor light and without: http://ca.binnacle.com/m53/AQUA-SIGNAL/p8745/AQUA-SIGNAL-SERIES-34-LED-TRI-COLOUR-ANCHOR-LIGHT/product_info.html They also do a deck mounted LED bi-colour (these are available in both black and white): I cant remember were i saw it but I also believe there is a battery operated nav lights that use suction cap like the go pro stuff to put it in place
  7. Being such a flat day why didn't they just raft the power boat up and steer via Fly'in H.

Due to the simplistic design down stairs I sure you'll find the right size that will complement the interior layout with out comprising the strength of bulkheads
  9. What? are you pissed and feeling sorry for yourself? Look back at what you built together and enjoy the memories, or are you feeling guilty because you never did that? Lots of people lose loved ones. BP you are a self indulgent asshole.
  10. This from a man that can't nail two bits of wood together, Has such an ego that he wants control over who posts in CA A man that had one good design, but is now being used by owners wanting the 'last' design. The only thing Bob pulls for is himself, and is certainly somebody that doesn't understand HTFU.

I wonder if there's ever been another 65' boat that could be entirely longboarded while standing on the shop floor? The question is were they sanding out a guide coat I'm guessing the reflections will be unreal.

Roger that. Yes you Tricky Pig. It sounds like an SOS... Your right, it's showtime, hurry hurry, step right up, introducing the star of our show, his name is... Yes I'm back to remind you that bullshit does not pay. It's just like old times, the dynamic duo, two old friends, why panic, you already know who's fully capable, the two capped heroes, dial straight down the center eight-zero-zero, you can even call collect, or just leave a post. Sorry Kim, your build is fantastic, 1 hull 1 builder, quiet the dynamic duo. Quick gotta move fast, gotta perform miracles, gee willikers Kim, holy bat syllables, look at all the bullshit that goes on in Gotham when i'm gone. Well not so much... I've been sad and dueled with one other, holy bat crap, one was a winner. Have Fun RIP Sandi.

FD That is a beautiful spin re having a electric windlass. I have never been on a yacht that has had an electric primary, but I can see the benefit. There has been more than once that I've felt like spewing after a tack, and/or being on the traveler on a multi. Why wouldn't ya...

+1 Do fuel cells get gunky? A mate works for a company that does fuel cells. they currently use more carbon to build than offset, but hey you gotta start somewhere. Gunky? maybe but I think they blow up before they get gunky

It was an honest question. plans have shown the keel to be fuel tank. now with a C-head there is a 50 gal holding tank area left over? .
  22. Shute Man

    Perry Sliver Class Day Sailor

Is the keel still going to be the fuel tank? Or are you going to utilise the area that was for the holding tank now?

Well several of us carried them from my van to where they current reside, so I guess we will pick them up, walk up the stairs to the walkway around the hull and hand them to another crew member in the hull. Individually they can be carried by one person, (well the mast step is really a two person job.) They weigh 433 pound total, so broken up into nine pieces they can be readily handled. The mast step sub base weighs 125 pounds. The big question is hoisting the Yanmar into the hull. We have a plan for that. Hopefully it will work. Are the keel bits going to painted prior to install? The love for the welds is nothing, the cutting of the steel is cool
