      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

      Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

    Area III Racers, Start the 2011 season off with a bang. This weekend is the CCYC Edwin Reinholtzen Spring Opener and Olympic Cup Races. As in past years the Spring Opener is on the CCYC Olympic Circle at SA1 using the fixed marks. After the race rafting privileges will be extended for entered yachts along the wall by the club in Montrose Harbor, contact our harbor master for details. We plan on having people out there to grab your dock lines. The Sunday Olympic Cup will be W/L using drop marks and is also started at SA1. See LMSRF.org for official notices and further details. The CCYC Spring Splash Season Opener Party will be held after Saturday's racing. Kids’ Activities from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. Wine Tasting from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. Dinner buffet starts at 5:00 PM. Entertainment from about 8:00PM to midnight. with the band "The West Side Winders." The usual $1.00 drafts and $3.00 “Dark N’ Stormy’s. Free on street parking. The club will be open all weekend for its annual Al Spiller Memorial Membership drive. Please drop in and look over what Corinthian has to offer- you may want to join! Racers who sign up for the Spring Opener and the Olympic Cup, held on Sunday, will get a $20.00 coupon for use at the club on Saturday. See the attachment for more details on the party.
