This thing was leaving the container port earlier today in Southampton (UK) 363m long, 500m swinging ground (had to exit container berth backwards with 3 tugs and turn through 180 degrees to head down Southampton water and out to the Solent) not much room either end, was impressive to see.

It carries 10 passengers if you fancy a different kind of cruise!

Passengers who travel with CMA CGM are accommodated in outside cabins, many with windows that open, and take breakfast in their own lounge, while lunch and dinner, which include complimentary French table wine, Chateau Paquebot, are served in the officers mess. The fare for a full 69-day Far East round voyage from Southampton or Rotterdam, is Euros 6,900 (about £6,275) per person double or Euros 7,179 (about £6,525) for sole use of a double stateroom, but one-way and part voyages are also available.

With a 120mm gun it could very well be...one of my oldest buds Willy P. was a tank commander in the reserves, till his wife thought he was having to much fun and made him get out...I'll have to ask him next time he comes over...I do know he misses his the tanks and did enjoy the schitt out of them...

Wow Boomer, that is one of the coolest images I've seem in ages.

Sort of the kept viewing the free like she was an exhibit...of sorts.

Sad though...at the same time. Such an amazingly graceful and powerful beast...stuck in a tank. :(

Can't believe you posted an image of that horrible monstrosity from our city.

That edifice to money laundering.

That pick-pocket of average mans' wages.

That shrine to schlocky pseudo kulture.

Ptui!! I vent my mucus filled nostrils at it.

Tuffie,sorry if it's offensive to you,to the engineering world it's a marvel....Not only is it a helix,but it's a double helix.

The other engineering marvels as well....have quickly become some of the most popular photographed structures in the world.

Oh, no, don't get me wrong Boomer. I love the double helix...its that horrible evil empire behind it that gives me the shits.
