Klingon Bird of Prey

not sure of the yard or designer.

Obviously not a sailboat due to the lack of second set of almas...

Never thought of this before but....

In Star Trek they all sail on multihulls!

Hi,

its a danish project.

Denmark as you know is built mainly on islands, many of which are very practical. You can race around them.

check out:

http://www.carbon3.dk/

I do like the Klingon comparison though. From time to time foreing ears actually compare the danish tongue to the klingon. If you have a weak spot for your viking heritage - and not surprisingly most danish sailors do have that - its actually kind of flattering.

Regards

Lars

It is a big version of a Hobie Tri-foilor and is going to chase the Frenchies for outright speed record.

Well, I'm not exactly sure but it looks like they took a perfectly good catamaran and added a big heavy section to the center. Oh well, one of these days they'll come up with a sailboat that offers both a stable platform as well as being light weight. Hmmmmm...

I can't quite decide if that central Pod is going to be ridiculously uncomfortably small or really convenient....

Wish they had a better website (where the 'pics' aren't blurred') and did something with the central hull transom... otherwise looks like an interesting project! this bitch gonna fly!

It's a NO SWAG 30.

Not many replies when you don't offer anything.

Oh I forgot, when they do offer something nobody wins anything anyway.

To me it looks like a sideshow ride all packed up but it would be the first one at the fairground I would be in line for.

Be as pain in the ass to put together in some of the carparks we have had to set up in.

Whats the guess for set up time. Thats real time not what the designer reckons. <_<
