      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

Recommended Posts

Cabo race starts Friday, Saturday for the big boys. Looks like a real nice system moving through late Saturday. 25Kt to 30Kt NW winds. Should be a sliegh ride.

Friday starters a bit screwed waiting 20 to 30 hours for the wind to get them.

Wheres Mark and his usuall forecast'?

That is all I can afford as well. My point was that the last couple of years have been dominated by the J125's and SC50's. The 70's were due to get into a weather pattern that they could benefit from. The bummer for the Friday starters was the slow first day - otherwise it would have been closer.

We enjoyed a good ride south on the Medusa after a painfully slow 36 hours. Good control in the breeze with no mishaps - but I don't think we saw quite as much breeze as the sleds had in this video. We saw low to mid 30's as our top wind speed but we had hours of 25-28. Impressed with the SC 52 as a battlewagon that can still get up and go! Also surprised the J-125's were as far back after 36 hours of pressure. Happy of course, but a little surprised. Great crew and fantastic owner - looking forward to another race soon.
