      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

Recommended Posts

Is there one? Dr. Google isn't coughing anything up.

I need a two-prong Dri Plug socket. (The female) Thanks!

Is this for your autopilot? My old Ray pilot used a Dri plug. They work well, but I'm sure you could sub in another plug if necessary.

That said, I have a spare plug/socket assembly...

Edit: I'll check Canadian availability. Sometimes we get stuff from Blighty that doesn't show in the USA.

Mark,

With no photo in the ad, there's no way to tell. An AH4000 may have multiple prongs instead of just two. Thanks for trying though. Maybe I can call them.

Ish- I appreciate your help. Let me know if you find out anything.

In the meantime, I guess I could snip off the male end on the tiller pilot and adapt a totally different product. What do we have in the States that is like the Dri Plug?

Whatthehell, it's been sitting unused for 6 years so I'll probably never use it. The plug has been used (I converted a wired spotlight to use the same socket) but the socket is new.

Ajax, if you want it, it's yours. PM me your address.

Ajax,

West Marine has carried them before. If you are in urgent need, I have a two prong DriPlug in my spares and can take a look for it if you're interested. PM me if you are.

BTW, I used one of their 6-conductor plugs that incorprated a VHF coax connector too. Used it for mast wiring handling anchor, masthead trilight, windex, foredeck flood and steaming.
