How about the shirts that were earmarked for the Race Deck workers (2013 and 2014)?

-MH

Ok- all the 2014 (red) shirts are in the hands of skipper and/or crew. If you are a crew- please contact your skipper if they haven't already let you know. Thanks to a record number % for turning out for the awards event - Wed night helped I think. That seems like a reasonable plan for next year 4 weeks after the race.

We still have a considerable number of Navy 2013 DHF shirts, although through courtesy of SSS we were able to deliver some at their OYC event last night. If you're a racer and haven't picked them up- email DHF2013@sfbama.org with name and boat name and we'll see if we can work out a pickup location. If you want extra shirts- let us know that too. Put DHF shirt in subject.
To explain the delay last year, we got fancy with the design (as we did in 2013) and included finishes in the design with awards. Then we had protests- rare. They took a long time to resolve (partly because we aren't used to those things)- even more rare. So until we had the protests addressed we couldn't release the shirts- and schedule an appropriate skippers meetings. Our apologies for that- you'll have noticed we skipped the fancy finish order and trophies on the 2014 shirts which lead to a more timely awards meeting with shirts. Of course we didn't have any protests this year which is normal.

Fewer number and limited selection, but some DHF 2012 (white) shirts still unclaimed. Email DHF2012@sfbama.org for info. I think folks remember the reason, but, if not, the awards would have been in the time frame of the aftermath of LSC. We delayed until it seemed right and then realized we had several folks leaving for Hawaii. It was very short notice to have the awards at Sailstice and we apologize for that. We have been dragging the shirts around to various distribution sites and storage so many finally were claimed.

Very soon (next couple of weeks) we'll be releasing the remains for sale/free- likely at OYC event.

Thanks for your support!
Cheers
bob
