I would think reloading ammo for the main gun would be problematic.

I'm having trouble imagining what it would be link to have enough $$ excess to my needs to collect and store.............tanks...............I'd probably collect and store fire engines, trucks and other apparatus if I had that kind of wealth.

Everyone has their dream toys. In my case it would be WWII airplanes.

As an aside.... it seems that "collecting" stuff is an almost purely male thing. Do women have collections of toys like this? And no, I'm not talking about the battery operated kind!

One of the benefits of living in Texas - no alimony (well, except for short periods in some exceptional circumstances).

Women go for shiny. Guys go for "practical" though none of what is collected tens to actually be practical.

You would think that shiny trinkets are worth less than practicals (boats, cars, planes, trucks... tanks), but have you looked at what precious metals and stones are worth... (Also horses is a big one for women with that taste, that makes sailing look like pocket change.)

One never sees female helpers with a pool boy, Cuban or otherwise.

Sorry to burst the bubble.

I have a respectable collection of late 1800s-early 1900s cookware. I keep it in wooden crates in the garage and use it for re-enacting.

My husband and children would also say that I collect shoes, but that's just bullshit.

You say that but stop and pull out every pair of footwear that you own. I did a random spot check one day after getting into such an argument. I has slightly annoyed I owned at the time 8 pairs of footwear.

two sets of work shoes,

dress shoes,

2 pairs of sandals.

2 pairs of deck shoes,

Hiking boots,

work boots,

Golf shoes,

Of course every pair has a purpose.

I don't think that would take a million dollars to make that happen. Some have even had it for free. ;)

You CANNOT use the words "pekingese" and "dog" in the same sentence.

This is a "dog":

You know....I get that some people want a pet....a little furry animal to love. So...that's fine. But there really should be a different name for it............"dogette" perhaps..............."doggle"..........but not DOG.
