      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

Perparing tonite. :)

I don't know about that Snaggs, the last time I had to ask Dawg to lock it after the young ones became unruly as you may remember.

r

However, after a few more beverages this afternoon I may dive into the cesspool face first.

Also I'm bored.

Headed to a beach bonfire BBQ with a bunch of Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA , and a bottle of akvavit frozen into a block of ice. I'll be back later to report the results.

Holy shit!

I just got home with a bag of limes, a bottle of Hendrick's, and a bottle of Bombay Sapphire for a gimlet taste-testing.

I have never been more prepared for anything in my life!

Un-summer like conditions here in South Jersey at the moment, cool and raining, which is also the forecast for tomorrow when I do RC for one fleet.

I suspect that I shall shortly depart this bar for a local pizza shop for a late lunch. This particular place employes a fantasticly attractive waitress whom appears to be one pair of 8 inch platform heels away from the chrome pole.

It is alos in a dry town, bring your own.

Just popped my 3rd beer. Halfway through studying...

I haven't studied in over 20 years and I've learned that I remember why. This sucks. I'm about ready to walk to the bar and throw in the towel for the day. How do people possibly find this crap interesting? UTM codes, js snippets and rel canonicals...yee haw.

My wife is the only hot chick in this hillbilly town, so the bartenders aren't an attraction.

You should have seen this hicksville/cowboy bar light up down here last week, when the Nurse & the Nursetta were in town. You could of walked across the whole floor without touching the vinyl, 'cuz it was nothing but tongues hanging out. Good f'ng times....

I believe it. I have no idea why or how they're associated with you, but you have a good looking family.

Yeah, I get that a lot. And you wouldn't even recognize the Nurse today----she's probably as thin as Mrs. Austin is. Lucky me, its like waking up and finding your car got a visit from the paint fairy overnight.....

Yes, you do have a beautiful family.

The Sapphire gimlet was lovely. Going to wait a bit before mixing up a Hendrick's, as there are children at home.

Lunch has been had, sadly no future stripper attended.

All is not lost however, will carry on to the next venue in search of humor.

What your town is sadly missing is a strip joint that serves Mexican beer to donkeys....

Just my opinion of course, but Hendrix is for martini's only, and sapphire, while wonderful, is overkill for everything else. Dad taught me years ago that Gordon's has all of the taste without paying for the advertising. According to Wiki Gordon's is the number 1 seller in England for over 100 years and was the favorite of Ernest Hemingway. (Just so you know I'm in good company here.) It's about half the cost of sapphire. Having a lovely Gordon's Tom Collins as I write this

In popular culture[edit]

Gordon's Gin is specified by name in the recipe for the Vesper Cocktail given by James Bond in Ian Fleming's 1953 bookCasino Royale.[18] Note this was the old 47% strength Gordon's. Bond's famous mixing instruction 'shaken, not stirred' was to allow for the high alcohol content of this gin (shaking dilutes the drink more).

All you need is little streams of alcohol trickling down the rocks and cigarette trees, and you are living at Big Rock Candy Mountain... :P

When I was a bartender, they called that bruising the liquor.

Long time ago though.

There was a $100,000.00 Bassmasters Tournament here this weekend, these guys wear more sponsor patches than a Cup driver.

5 hours at the machine shop this morning, having a Malt Sandwitch for lunch watching the start of a singlehanded race.

The only elegibility rule is no singlehanded boats, in this case O'Day Mariners, Flying Scots, J22's, Lightnings and assorted small PHRF boats.

Nice 5-10 knot breeze.

In 1984-5 in Antigua, we couldn't purchase enough sandpaper, varnish and paintbrushes to keep up with the brightwork on that tub, it was neverending.

I personally never had to varnish, I was the socalled "Engineer", I spent 15 hours per week fixing 5 electric heads and a 1000 gallon per day RO water desalinater. This was after normal maintenence.

I'd fuck ya deaf but you are to far away Boothy (~:
