      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

Hey - it made it to Fiji. Good looking boat but I've never heard of it.

Great boat. One has made a circumnavigation. Biggest down side is that the lift keel trunk takes up a fair amount of room in the cabin. They are all-around good sailers, and as well built as anything out there.

Thanks Doug, according to the second link it was this boat that did the loop. Yeah the keel trunk would be an issue with groups of people on board but would be quite comfy for a couple at sea I imagine.

Its just a shame it came up a few years too soon. Who knows the way things are selling it might still be there!

Bigger Hmmmmmmmmm - 2014 minus 1988 equals 26 years old.

Nice boat though.

I do wonder what the current average age of the typical fiberglass sailboat in the say 21 to 50 foot range is today. 20 Plus?

OOPS Misread the age, my own boat was built in 78 so maybe I had got fixated.

It is a nice looking boat but not yet priced to sell.

At least you can pick it up in Paradise rather than paying more for it in the US and sailing it there

Mine's 30 YO this year. Still as ever "fast is fun" as the day it came out of the chicken coop.

Same boat ToG or just same vintage? If yes to first question, how would you rate it as a live aboard cruiser?

TOG has a Santa Cruz 50 if I remember correctly. Probably pretty nice as a liveaboard...
