How many boat builders are left in Walkworth do you think??

Flying boatbuilders out from Warkworth is a bit like printing money. It gets to a point where you can fly as many out as you want but it doesn't make a difference.

ETNZ taking a page out of DC's '87 book, stay clear at the start, get a clear lane to launch, get ahead and lead at every mark.

That was over a km win..! How boring..!

Just 2 full race days away from victory. Wow that is one fast boat racing a dog.! Russell is drawing up his resignation as we speak. Dalton's dream about to come true..

Best possible start for us. Need to keep up the pressure now. No slip ups, make OR get every last toy out of the box and show them it's not as good as the Kiwi toys.

Very impressive, more please.

Possibly. 600 knots would need a pretty hard tailwind though.

The regatta isn't over yet, as SF wasn't over at 8:1.

But boring it is. Haven't we been promised that these new boats will provide spectacular, exciting, awesome racing? Well...

They barely attempted to win a start against Artemis, and still beat them 5-2. If Oracle can't win a start this series is over.

I think we'll see some new enhancements from ETNZ next weekend to counter what slicing and dicing OR-XEROZ get up to in their 5 "lay" days.

Boring racing really. Admiration for the Kiwi program but when one boat wins by 1km + it's not racing. The sand bagging is over. This was a master plan. Everything going to plan.

I agree, but I think the big difference between this and SF is Oracle were winning races early in the regatta 4 years ago.  The 8-1 is a little exaggerated due to the 2 point penalty but I think they won either race 3 or 4 last time which kept them in the hunt.  In this case they need to find some real speed fast or pray for gales to blow through.

Possibly they run electricity through his arm via that device now, just to trigger the clench reflex in his hand so he can't let go?

I am actually impressed that PB won four starts in a row against JS, that's no mean feat. OR seems to just not have the agility to be a serious threat at the starts in these conditions.

He didn't win all four

It actually helps the organizers build a little suspense back up.  If they race tomorrow, it's 2 zip but with 5 days in the shed there is at least a glimmer of hope that OR can improve significantly.

It's over trust me..! There is no coming back from that. The Kiwis will get faster it's all part of the master plan. For ourselves we know we are faster so the boys are going on a tour of Burmuda, soak up the sun, and look to do some night clubbing.

Yeah, was he saying that in SF?? In SF I think he already knew they had something up their sleeve...here it doesn't sound as if they have anything as 'revolutionary' this time around...we will see in 5 days time...

Maybe not copied. Is there anything OR can do with their foils? There are tight restrictions in the rules, so what can they (OR) still do?

I'd love this to go to 7-0 - then ETNZ can say they actually won 8-0. ORUSA and the US-based commentary are studiously not mentioning the first race of this match, but they would be if the scoreline was the other way around.

They can try and mode better, try and get better aero packages on or use some 10% tips they've already made.

I think they made a mistake with the faster boards today.

anyone know the forecast for next weekend?

Also, if the racing does not finish next Sunday evening, what if the schedule after that?
