      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

And he pulls his piles of blank paper stunt again...hope it was recycled.

n 1960, there were approximately 20,000 pages in the Code of Federal Regulations. Today there are over 185,000 pages, as seen in the Roosevelt Room. Today, we CUT THE RED TAPE! It is time to SET FREE OUR DREAMS and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

AH-HA! There ya go! Now we know when America was great before! 1960! (Assuming this is pre-November 1960)

I hope tosses out the entire FAA regulations.  No need.  It’s like 1000 pages.  Small print too.

I was thinking the entire DoJ could go..... No laws means no courts, means no law suits, no sexual assault charges.... It's a win/ win for Trump and his elk. Of course we'll still have to kill black people randomly, and Mexicans, and anyone with a vaguely Arabic sounding name, but bullets are cheap compared with court stenographers, and bailiffs, and activist judges....

The entire interstate transportation regs , unnecessary.  Leave it up to the states.  FDA regs are burdensome.  Bring drugs to market without testing.  This will work out in the end.

Personally, I like hamburgers, and pork chops rare/medium rare...... Chicken, no.... Duck yes. Why is it OK to serve rare duck, but not rare chicken?..... Do ducks not get Salmonella?

I've eaten rare iguana...... I would have preferred it cooked more, but it was dark, and it wasn't until I really dug into it that I realized that it was still a little..... gamey around the bones..... At least I did't eat the raw iguana eggs, which were still inside her when they gutted her before throwing her on the coals..... Apparently they are a powerful aphrodisiac....

On a river trip in British Honduras many years ago, our guides shot some iguanas and we had BBQ iguana for dinner. It was very good but by far the best part were the eggs. Soft-boiled in the BBQ sauce as it warmed. Stick one in your mouth and pop it with your tongue. I can still taste it now. Soooo good.

I was about 10 at the time and can't report on the aphrodisiac qualities, if any, but just as food it was almost as good as sex.

Going to pay for it using Pesos, loonies and toonies, bitcoin, IOU?

It would be hilarious if Mexico and Canada were to build walls to keep us out of their countries.  Ugly Americans and all that.

You forgot unprincipled..someone started a thread listing the acts of bastardry of DT..I cant find it but I just found this.

On Mar A Lago

Remember Marjorie Post actually bequested this place to used as a presidential retreat..a gift to the nation? (or a tax dodge?)

The nation basically cant afford to maintain it..don't want it..and give it back to her estate.

Then

Donald Trump learned about the estate after unsuccessfully trying to purchase and combine two apartments in Palm Beach for his family. According to Trump, he offered the Post family $25 million for it, but they rejected it. Trump purchased the land between Mar-a-Lago and the ocean from Jack C. Massey, the founder of KFC, for $2 million,[20] stating he intended to build a home that would block Mar-a-Lago's beach view. The threat caused interest in the property to decline, and Trump ended up getting the property for $7 million in 1985.

If anyone can find that thread..?

There hasn’t been a fatal passenger airline crash in the United States since 2009.

Someone didn’t do their homework:

Asiana Airlines Flight 214 was a scheduled transpacific passenger flight from Incheon International Airport near Seoul, South Korea, to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in the United States. On the morning of Saturday, July 6, 2013, the Boeing 777-200ERcrashed on final approach into SFO. Of the 307 people aboard, two passengers died at the crash scene, and a third died in a hospital several days later; all three of them were teenage Chinese girls.

So far this year he's cut funding to Pakistan and is helping to foment unrest in Iran, and now he's withdrawing funding for Palestinian organizations. This on top of the Jerusalem declaration of a couple of weeks ago.

Quote

Trump said that Washington gives Palestinians “HUNDRED OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS a year and get no appreciation or respect. They don’t even want to negotiate a long overdue peace treaty with Israel ... with the Palestinians no longer willing to talk peace, why should we make any of these massive future payments to them?”

"The President’s tweets follow plans disclosed by his U.N. ambassador earlier on Tuesday to stop funding a United Nations agency that provides humanitarian aid to Palestinian refugees.

“The President has basically said he doesn’t want to give any additional funding, or stop funding, until the Palestinians agree to come back to the negotiation table,” Ambassador Nikki Haley told reporters when asked about future U.S. funding for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees."

This is making peace in the Middle East?

I don't see it that way. All Trump's bluster on the Nork nuke issue has zero to do with the recent outreach to South Korea imo.

Nork got where they wanted to go, a seat at the Nuclear table. Now they are prepared to sit down as equals with their neighbors to the South. This is the planned endgame I think.

I dunno, maybe Trump is just the President the US had to have.

If we all survive the next 3 years without any major wars, maybe..just maybe the Emperors will be naked for all to see, everyone can stop relying on the US nuclear or Russian Nuclear shields and rely on our pissy little NATO and ANZ treaties without the USA and Americans can stop spending sqillions on their defence budget and start spending on those small luxuries we all enjoy..like universal HC, affordable education and decent infrastructure...you know..taxes going where they are supposed to.

I mean..who really want's their country to be GREAT anymore?

So far this year he's cut funding to Pakistan and is helping to foment unrest in Iran, and now he's withdrawing funding for Palestinian organizations. ...

I'm not sure why Pakistanis or Palestinians have any right to my tax money. Nor am I convinced that spreading it around will do more good than harm.

How I score these three actions:

1. Cut meddling. Good.

2. Increased meddling. Bad.

3. Cut meddling. Good.

2 out of 3 is much better than I generally expect from our President.

Palestinians have a right to your tax money because your meddling and backing Israel is crippling their economy.

Pakistan? Pakistan receives foreign aid from several countries and international organizations. Since the start of the War in Afghanistan, the majority of the aid comes from the United States via the Coalition Support Fund which is reimbursement to Pakistan for expenses already incurred and compensation for facilities made available to the coalition forces such as the Shamsi Airfield and Dalbandin air bases. $4 billion has been billed to the CSF Fund for the training and services provided by American military and contractors to Pakistan Security Forces.[

Not a big fan of meddling in Israel nor since the early 2000's in Afghanistan. More meddling compounds rather than rectifying the mistake.

I’m in favor of cutting all foreign aid, but like cutting welfare, we need to prepare for the instability and violence.  A whole lot of people are gonna die, and it ain’t all foreigners or the poor.

Have you been reading JerKZ, Warpedbirds and/or Dogs posts?

The rate your apparent IQ is dropping would lead one to believe it.
