"build files" ?

do you want to have the signed off checklist from the builder of the hull as it was put together?

do you want the material and layup specifications that were used to build it and sister ship?

do you want the dimensions of the hull/deck?

If it was possible I would love or get all that information. But unlikely .basicsilly anything I can get would be a bonus

I'd be highly surprised if you were to get much of anything along those lines.

The detailed specs of construction and the worksheets that went with them are proprietary, though there may have been a file containing them for hull #11 while she was being built. The blueprints/plans you might be able to get abstracted to show you deck layout and allow you to scale off as you can.

Try asking for a pdf from their cad system.

There really isn't too much information on individual boats.  Change orders maybe.  The bulk of the information is in an archaic database and is a bit of a bitch to work with.

Your only route is through JBoats itself. As others said, it's proprietary and the Johnstone's protect their product pretty much in perpetuity.  I encountered this years ago when working in the industry in RI.

2 people I know found their 105 build files at the auction. I couldn’t make it and they couldn’t find mine or any of the J35 files, so the older ones were probably gone.
