      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

How does it work when every boat already built is different?  What is the 1D configuration going to be? Are current boats grandfather in or will need for conform?

I like  the boat but feel this should of been decided before you sold xx number.

Do you have a back log of sales that will produce this class in the US?

Seems like there's no info available yet. It's not on Stagg's website or facebook page. Just a teaser on the facebook page.

We are nearly finished with the promotion materials and information will be out on Stagg's web, facebook as well as Wraceboats pages.

It wont be long.

In USA all 8 boats are based on (6) East coast and (2)Michigan Lake

There is Version1 boats.  Hulls 3-4

Then there are Version2 boats. With carbon keel frame. Of these Hulls 5 and 6  are lifting keel. 7-9-10 are fixed keel.

Then Hull8 which has an inboard is obviously heavier of the bunch and has more drag due to the saildrive.

Old boats will be grandfathered in the OD. and Old boats with the exception of hull8 (inboard) can retrofit with a longer boom and bowsprit to conform to the OD setup.

More information will be out soon.

Serhad,

Definitely like the mods to the boat - nice job!

It seems like a bit of a hefty price tag.  The boat will end up at 110K+ by the time it hits the starting line.  I am wondering if that is going to be easy to sell.

Hi Christian,

Race ready price will be below 100k for sure.

It was not an easy sell when the pricing was factory direct and abt 30pct lower as well...Now that we have dealer support, class development/support, and aftersales support, a proven boat, and a advertising budget, we believe it will be relatively easy to sell new boats.

I do not know of any boat with similar technology and speed, below this price tag that is selling in large numbers. Price is a factor for sure but not the only factor as you know.

I know I'd rather get into a GP26 at sub 100k than a Farr280 or C&C30 at well past 130.
