It'll be better if they spelled "DEFENCE" correctly

Where did you find that? My inlaws attic? My Father-In law still has stuff from the 70's when he won it on Intrepid.

Seems fitting that you'd find Liberty in a junk shop.

Haha. I know. Ironic because it was a fast boat--just not a 12.5 meter ;-)

I liked Intrepid. Last of the woodies.

You actually know this particular shop. You've been there, almost certainly!

Why? It's not like it was actually a lot slower than Australia II. With the same advancement in sails, who knows what the outcome might have been.

Got this one this old one from the Big Boat days that has got quite mouldy. Is signed by Fay to someone.

Have a old framed 'Kiwi Magic' poster in storage I think but used to have several large framed Team New Zealand 1995 Steinlager posters that have disappeared over the intervening years.

Mother-in-law found this at an auction years ago for no money in New York state, pretty cool piece of work.  Wonder who Chuck is . . .

This embarrassing tub is still slung up in the viaduct downtown Auckland. It's a reminder of how messed up and controversial the AC can be.

I try not to let my gaze near the thing.

The new mono hull will have nothing to do with that. Not an artwork but it could be, superb.

Original oil painting of Australia 2.

As I recall I had a print of that, or similar, and binned it.  I'm a huge fan of the Aussie efforts to lift the Cup but this didn't light my fire.

Oil painting?

Well the print I recall had all the qualities of a water colour but my knowledge and appreciation of art styles is somewhat limited.

Team NZ poster from 2000... OK, maybe not that special all by itself, but MY copy is personally signed by Sir Peter Blake!
