Found this on facebook a few years back. The answer, I think, is a guy who'd rather ride out the apocalypse at sea than in a bunker. I recall a lot of doomsday prepper-type reasoning.

That's the boat of a super wealthy dude that none of his kids wants to inherit. "No you can have the 3 million dollar yacht, I'll take the Jag"

Super attractive a a residence bay cruiser in the South Pacific, not so much for offshore activities.  I'd pay $70,000USD for it sight unseen, RSP me if the owner's interested.  Main thing it's aluminum which spins my tail.

But where's the mast?  Is it some sort of A-Frame rig?

Lateen rig, huh? What are the advantages of that?

The boat looks like it might have been built for the surf charter trade, with that shallow draft, all of the single bunks, and the surf photos.

Sometimes, one just need to create the fantasy that is in one's mind.

That boat is exactly what the owner/builder/designer intended. The result might not have been the intention, but the design and build was very definitely intentional.

It's been for sale almost since it was launched.  Something didn't go according to plan

Looks like a Klingon Bird of Prey.

But, "It can be delivered to anywhere for cost of fuel/food/airticket return."  So, clearly it's in a different league than the FH, but has just about equal appeal to me.
