These boats were built in the early 80's as offshore one designs. The reputation at the time was that they were solidly built and did well at sea. A good upwind boat with the typical downwind personality quirks of an IOR hull. There was one at Indian Harbor YC in Greenwich called Indian Summer. My buddy who crewed on her loved the boat. The rig was conservatively sized....not a great light air boat. She came into her element in winds over 12-14 kts. Given their age, I would be very careful about the survey. But the boat is a great design that was executed well.
