You have to love the notion of the bi-plane rig guys:  Sure, THOUSANDS of rig-designers over the centuries pondered the issue and evolved the spar, As We Know It but I'm gonna do it differently than them, because I'M smarter than all that complied wisdom.

It's like all the convoluted attempts at improving on the front end on a motorcycle - the telelever, leading links, Hossack pattern, Earles linkage, center-hubs - all to get around the issues that,  in good designs with good components really aren't issues at all with conventional telescoping forks like Scott first used in 1908 (BMW first damped them hydraulically in 1935)

I think it is Reid Stowe's new project.  wanted something a little faster, a little uglier, and something that any girl that goes with him has a their own hull to hide from him.

Not quite sure about that. There is a double bed in the middle of the tramp!

I cannot imagine how much fun it would be to drop the mainsail without anything holding the luff of the sail.

If you’re an engineer it’s perfect. Doesn’t make it right however.

A communication problem.
Humankind developed speech and then writing to keep records, so known errors are not repeated, but there are some who don't read nor listen.
