I stopped watching it after the Journo got terrorized, nearly raped by the neanerthals  and is only save by a fate worse than death  by being eaten by a giant razorback..what's to not laugh at? . We do good black humour ....UGH!

The first full length album I bought was a cassette tape "Icehouse" by Flowers, who later changed their name to Icehouse.

I caught the Split Enz final tour "Enz with a bang" in 1984 at Coffs Harbour. I had a radio program on the local community radio station, I was all set to interview the band but when their manager saw I was a 14 yr old pimply kid he told me to piss off. I am going to see Tim Finn and You am I at Werribee in November.

Because Tim Rodgers is a god and I spent alot of my 20's stlaking him and possibly creeping him out?

And dreadom, split enz, festival hall Melbourne 1983/4? Same tour. First unaccompanied gig.

Ps, a tim and adalita sandwich was always a birthday wish......

Now that's pretty extraordinary :)  No one shouts like Barnsey ...

BTW..why the fuck are The Black eyed Peas playing The Grand Final let alone headlining ?

James Reyne, the more unintelligible the lyrics the better I like it.

Very Australian

Meet me down by the jetty landing Where the pontoons bump and spray

I see the others reading, standing As the Manly Ferry cuts its way to Circular Quay

Hear the captain blow his whistle So long she's been away I miss our early morning wrestle

Not a very happy way to start the day She don't like that kind of behaviour [2x]

So, throw down your guns Don't be so reckless Throw down your guns Don't be so

Feel like Scott of the Antarctic Base camp too far away

A Russian sub beneath the Arctic Burke and Wills and camels initials in the tree

She don't like that kind of behaviour [2x]

So, throw down your guns Don't be so reckless Throw down your guns Don't be so reckless

She don't like that kind of behaviour [2x]

So, throw down your guns Don't be so reckless

Throw down your guns Don't be so reckless Throw down your guns Don't be so reckless Throw down your guns Don't be so reckless

Don't be so... reckless Don't be so...

Successful, yes. As well as stale, boring and old.

I didn't used to like ACDC...but as I got older I decided to set aside my learned musical snobbery.. :)

I wouldn't go as far as to buy a record or pay for a ticket but in certain moods...well yeah..n0 one rocks harder. theyre fun

This was a good friend of mine..Played and wrote sort of amusingly titled and tongue in cheek Oz Country and western.

Very little on the net but Dougy was around for years  and regular at the Fitzroy Hotel.

Amazing..guy one of the bravest and funniest people you'd ever meet and a great musician...crippled by the factor 8 his life depended on..he played on in pain most people never knew about ..died at 53 ..just wore out.
