Transpac crew / team environmental scientist available

Recommended Posts

Hello-   15 years sailing experience, Great Lakes, gulf of mx on variety of boats. Limited off shore but driven to learn.  Lots of experience with B&G instruments.    Interested in crewing 2019 transpac to fill available positions.

Here’s something you have not likely heard.  20 years experience as a Environmental Scientist working domestically and internationally for business, Govt,  and nonprofit / NGOs  looking to augment your crew dynamic with some wilderness philosophy, conservation and environmental  discourse?  Want to support and advance data collection? Lets talk.

Can further engage / train crew and stakeholders / sponsors as we sail near a real hotspot for marine environmental stewardship.

It’s a dream to be crew and staff env scientist and I’d like your help to launch it.  Please feel free to pass this note along.

Lots of ways to collaborate  including onboard data collection (water quality, tagged fish Iidentification and logging while under way.   Also green procurement for supplies, pv to co2e conversions) for starters.

Further if your team wants to collaborate to package and communicate an array of sustainability / actions / initiatives to add further value to your stakeholders we can aim as high as you’d like and also package for external communications.

Best Regards,

John

Hi John,

Thinking about it, currently working on refit, and would like to launch in San Francisco Bay bay next month.
