Naaah.. You still got plenty of miles in them, mate.  When the blood starts to soak through, you might need a bit of duct tape.

Shame about the thumbs.  Did you ever have any opposable ones?

I used to have thumbs before those gloves allowed them to be worn away.

As your gloves show, building dry-stone walls or laying bricks and pavers can be quite abrasive. You might want to try here: https://www.superiorglove.com/en/industry-gloves/construction-gloves/masonry-gloves .  Not running your fingers constantly over nonskid decks trying to find braille labels next to the cleats & stoppers might also help.

Do you moonlight as a bricklayer? But seriously the gloves are becoming a snag hazard. See the thread on finger devolving injuries.

Gloves are not cool ... unless worn with a Mount Gay hat

I've noticed that wanna bee pros don't wear gloves.  Kinda interesting isn't it?

It's like saying that real men don't wear seat belts in cars.

I've got a pair worse than that. I use them hauling chain and stuff. I have a new pair for breezy days.

Exactly.  Gloves say "I have a job."   The bitchen dudes who don't wear gloves are the ones taking the sandwiches home, and driving the team van during the week.  Stay in school, kids.

Not bad. Even then, I've switched my sailing gloves to atlas, and haven't looked back...
