d'ranger 2,578 #3 Posted March 4, 2019 http://www.hayesrigging.com/ Ask for Kevin - been in boat biz forever, his dad built boats - knows everybody and would trust for a good recommendation. Good guy, does great work if the new boat needs work.

Jeff K 2 #5 Posted March 5, 2019 Kevin is very good but he owns a rigging company. We use this guy, even flew him to San Francisco to survey a 1D35 for us. https://everythingaboutboats.org/michael-l-firestone/ The boat that your looking at has been out for a few rum races. It looked nice out on the water.
Jeff K 2 #6 Posted March 5, 2019 Roy Newberry Jr also knows race boats.
d'ranger 2,578 #7 Posted March 5, 2019 Thanks Jeff -- been too many years for me to remember (getting old sucks) but yeah, both good guys - I knew Kevin could recommend somebody as a start.
