An insouciant little wine. Not too dry. Hints of broken spar and flailing canvas.

The Dry Creek Zinfandel upon opening you can sense the building freshness, it has a nose of oil skins, fear and incontinence. It starts with a intense seaworm infused oak and canvas note finishing in a delightful cascade of salt and marinated kapok. Pairs well with beach clams, coconut and seabird tar tar.

Wow!   I did not know M. C. Escher was a naval architect!

That hurts my head trying to comprehend the image.

It looks like the bowman's union rose up and moved the vessel command to the bow pulpit!

Looks like an innovative IACC rig. Also elegantly solves the mainsheet tackle in the cockpit issue.

Obviously the rig and boat are back to front but why would they further fuck it up by photo shopping a different kite as well?

Two explanations:

  1. Advertising types putting the least possible amount of effort into an assignment they never wanted nor understood.
I can just hear the conference going something like, "Can you make the sail on the other side?" "And make it blue?" If you've ever been on a photo shoot involving sailboats, you'll understand what I'm talking about.
  2. Photo-choppers intentionally fucking with us.

This wine is in trouble too...

How about a bottle of Queen Mary....titanic does not begin to describe it's robustness, a full hulled behemoth. Aged past her prime, she lays waste in the liquor stores of Long Beach, unwanted by her vintage and destined for the bargain bin or even decanted and used in the kitchen.

And besides that, ships are never properly referred to as "The"

The ship is "Queen Mary"

Putting "the" before her name is like calling someone "The Mary Smith" or "The John Doe".

I love that they emblazoned "STARBOARD" on a port tack sailboat like image. Beer goggles?

Quady Wines has a great dessert wine, couldn't call it Port due to the EU regulations, so called it 'Starboard'.......
