Eat your heart out Rimas ;)

I like it, as long as you leave my mate Rimas out of it. It's a piece of art.

Rimas' lawn dart masterpiece had all the elements of random, spontaneous and truly dangerous genius.

That Vermont eyesore is flaccid.

Where do i get one.Just what i need to piss off the the neighbors

Classifieds.  Or class website.  Or a boat broker.  They're all for sale.  Buy one, take it home, work on it, take it sailing, them back home, rinse, repeat.  Works on the wife too.

Or hang it in your living room and only piss off your wife and guests.

Nope - it's a big waterfront house in the Gulf Islands. That's the last Cooper 416 hull - I believe it was the sole survivor of a fire at the Cooper yard.

The Brits call things like that "Follies" - like building a Greek temple on your property

Yes..it is real.  The house is in Genoa Bay B.C. And the hull may still be there.  I believe it was "hung" by George O'Brien (ex owner of the 12 metre "Endless Summer" ex "Dame Pattie" sometime during the 80's.  Rumour has it you could access the man-cave bar from above.

Imagine if you will.. a divorce proceeding where the wife who doesn't sail manages to take the house and the boat, and the husband has a terrific idea to 'consolidate'.

How much are either worth now, dear??

Gosh, how big is that outboard? Would make a MAC proud.

Well, they never work for long with Rimas, so they are mainly for trim purposes, or eventually as random-deployment depth charges

It's only 8 hp, not enough to get a Mac started moving.

The Rimas thread was so long, didn't I read somewhere where he deep sixed the outboard?

Yep, along with some other non-essentials...like a life raft:rolleyes:

These are non-essentials for Rimas since he much prefers to be towed in and out of port.  And why would he need a life raft when the CG is always close at hand in an emergency - like losing the life raft.

But he kept the chicken, buttery mashed, and the cherries. What a life!
