Yes, At max furl plus 4 turns on the sheet around the head sail, strip the cover back so it stop just ahead of the clutch/cleat. When doing the transition from where the cover dives back into the core, I tend to be generous with the taper and do so for about 1-2 feet or so it feeds through the fair leads nicely. Whip and stitch the cross over and call it a day. I do the same thing with spinnaker sheets.
