Firefox user warning

Brave doesn't work for my payroll site, so using FF for that.  Instructions from linked article say:

On a PC: launch Firefox and go under either Options > Firefox Updates or Options > Advanced > Update to update Firefox.

I don't find those options, when I launch FF???

Try Help -> About Firefox. It should tell you if you are up to date (should happen auto magically). If not it should trigger an update in FF on Windows PCs.

My version of FF was updated automatically just a couple days ago.

@billy backstay, there're 3 little vertical lines in the upper right corner. "Menu".

Thanks.  One of the government agencies required me to use this browser, I forget which one.

Oh, good point. Yeah, clicking the three bar "hamburger" icon (apparently reminds some folks of a hamburger) opens the menu choices.

[edit] hit the alt key to toggle the menu bar on and off.

My Windows 10 version of FF updated automatically. I had to update my Linux version with apt.

^^^ Just in case it's not obvious, that page can be scrolled and may need to be scrolled down to show the update section. I think going to Help -> About Firefox is easier and accomplishes the same thing.

FWIW, my FF on Linux doesn't show the check for updates and such in either place. You need to do those things with the software manager (eg. apt).

Can't test it now but, Help -> About Firefox should work there, too.

It's like a cheeseburger, except made with two layers of meat-flavoured styrofoam.
