Chicago Mac to be the US mixed doubles offshore World Championship qualifier

Note that there will be 6 J/88's available for charter for Chi-Mac, but you must apply and be selected to get one of the charter boats.  

Note also that winning Chi Mac does not guarantee you will be selected for the World Championships in Malta, but you do have to enter Chi Mac to be eligible for selection.

I don't think they've got us more senior citizens in mind for the Olympic qualification, but could be a fun race. Looking at the Oakcliff one in Oyster Bay/Long Island Sound in July too.

I've been in contact.   No firm info yet regarding the boat charters.
